The Life Story of high-quality man (Yusuf Alayhi Salam)
Wow. Its been such a long time.
How are you doing? It has been forever since the last time I posted an entry on this blog.
As the proud member of the marginal urban community who has zero % interest to watch any movies (or even going to the cinema), I randomly clicked a 3 minutes Cinderella trailer which appeared on ‘what to watch next youtube home. It brought me right away to the most well-known free streaming movie website for watching the entire movie. Let me tell you, it has successfully increased my level of old-soul-ness and made my eyes and nose keep watery during the movie.
Don’t ask me how could that suggestion appeared on my feed, but if you really wanna know the absurd reason behind it, I’ve been manifesting my future someone by playing the snow-white soundtrack titled Someday my prince will come almost everyday on youtube. LOL. Maybe that’s where the reason came from.
You probably remember the scene when Ella’s mother is about to take her last breath, She says ;
“The Goodness leads you to Kindness, and Kindness leads you to the magic!”
Indeed, it sounds pretty ridiculous for Instagram hooman nowadays. But for an old-soul person who still does the conventional things (such as diary-ing) like me, it sounds otherwise. It sounds miraculous.
All of a sudden, My minds recall a person once that touching scene appeared. Someone I have never met and unfortunately will never meet in this world. The one who melts me away with his persona and life story from the centuries ago. Perhaps not just me, but I believe all the millions Muslims out there is admiring this person. His Charms, Genuine, Kind-hearted, Integrity, Patience, His love for his father. He is Prophet Yusuf Alaihi Salam. (May Allah Bless upon him and the family).

Unlike the Cinderella story which the majority of us believes as a fairy tale, the story of Yusuf Alayhi Salam is the proved one that Allah has distinctly describes in the Quran. For those of you who don’t know about him, I share you the synopsis of the story below
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once upon a time, there was a son named Yusuf. He is the nicest and most obedient child among the children of his father, Yaqub Alaihi Salam. That’s why the father loves him and compliments him more than the other child. The brothers got jealous. They conspired to separate Yusuf and the father away. They ask the father’s permission to take along Yusuf with them to play around. Once they reached the intended place, They Threw Yusuf into the dwell and left him alone. Afterwards, they went home to the Father while crying, pretending that Yusuf has already killed by a wolf. How miserable the father knowing his most favourite son has gone for forever. Yusuf was still very young at the moment, but Allah gave him strength and patience. He’s found by strangers when they want to get some water from the dwell. They sold Yusuf as a slave at a low price. Lucky Yusuf, one of the Egyptian figure (one of Egyptian minister Al Aziz) bought him and considered as if Yusuf is his own child.
Growing Up, Yusuf turns into a very Charming and Handsome guy. However, those advantages led him to a problem. One day, Al Aziz's Wife named Zulaikha who attracted by Yusuf seduced him so he would make love with her while the King was not around. As a normal man, he knew he wants it. But he blatantly refused it and run towards the door as he knew it is forbidden and Allah is watching him. Instead of giving up, Zulaikha chases after Yusuf and try to pull him with her fingers until she tore the back part of his Shirt. Surprisingly, Al Aziz was about to enter the room. When he opened that door, he got shocked to find out both of them inside the room and noticed the back part of Yusuf’s shirt was torn. He got angry. Zulaikha defends her self by twisting the fact and playing as a victim. She accused that Yusuf attempt to rape on her.
Allah is always with the one who does the right thing. Yusuf was proven innocent. Yet, He still got to the Jail for the sake of Al Aziz and Zulaikha Reputation.
Allah is always with the one who does the right thing. Yusuf was proven innocent. Yet, He still got to the Jail for the sake of Al Aziz and Zulaikha Reputation.
He had been jailed for several years. Inside the Jail, Yusuf has been asked by 2 other prisoners to interpret strange dreams they had. Yusuf said one of them will be soon out of the prison and be the King’s servant, while they remain one will get death execution. Time passed by, Yusuf proved that his prediction came through. He left a message for the King through his friend who came out of prison that He is good at interpreting dreams.
The day that he’s been waiting for is finally coming. The King need a person who can translate his rare dream which he curious about. No one knew what does the dream mean until The King met Yusuf through the ex-prison-mate. Yusuf successfully made The King trust on him and following what Yusuf suggested. That was the changing life moment for Yusuf. He managed to come out of the jail and appointed as a Kingdom’s chamberlain.
Long story short, Yusuf met his brothers in his own palace. How amazed the brothers when he found out that The king who they ask for help was apparently Yusuf. They regret what they have done in the past and did apologise. Yusuf forgives them wholeheartedly.
The father who had been in sick after he lost Yusuf and got his eye blinded due to crying a lot, finally reunited with his beloved Son in his Son’s empire. He got his eyesight back and recovered by Allah’s will. When Yusuf invited his parents to the throne, everyone inside the palace bows to them immediately.

What a very happy ending story. Isn’t it?
After all the sadness, and other unpleasant things that happened in his life, Allah gave him a very beautiful moment. It happened beautifully in divine timing.
Like the wise man says :
“Yes, everything will be beautiful at the divine timing.”
I 50% agreed with the quote. But according to the prophet story, it'll become 100% if I adjust it a Lil bit :
“Everything will be beautiful at the divine timing if you keep believing and be kind”
If we read the story carefully, The lesson that we can learn is he kept being kind even the bad things happened to Him. But why he became such a positive while the people around treat them negatively? Because he believes that Allah will always be with the righteous. He believes that Allah is watching everything and Allah is angry with the wrongdoers. That’s why he kept his integrity with him. He forgives his brothers since he believes that Allah is the forgiving of all, So why on earth human as his creature is hateful and won’t forgive the others? He believes that Allah will never neglect our kindness even though our kindness is unreciprocated by them who we treat nicely.
The Key is: He implemented the concept of iman into his life by always be kind.
After all the sadness, the disappointment he went through, Boom! Allah shows his greatness upon him with Jackpot rewards. Do you get the logic of a young child that has been thrown in a dwell will become a king someday? Did Yusuf make a detailed life plan to become a King? And prepared to achieve it? Did he make an effort to be a famous figure in entire Egypt? All he’s done was only keep believing that disappointment will benefit him someday, and keep being kind.
Indeed, it takes time and patience to understand why things happen the way it is.. And most of the time, we will know the reason once we overcome it.
Life may bring us to a difficult situation and place that we never desire or even hate. Just like Yusuf alaihi salam. Allah wanted him to be inside the dwell and the jail to bring him into the Kingdom. Allah wanted him to be betrayed by the brothers he respect, been accused by Zulaikha for the thing he never did to appointed him as a King.
So, keep believing that what happened to us is leading us to the beautiful part of our life.
If you said that it is different since Yusuf Alayhi salam is the prophet so we will never achieve things as he got I would say nope, ma friend. We may not a prophet. We are just ordinary people. But If all the rewards apply only to him, why Allah tells us about him clearly inside the Quran and wants all the Muslim read it?. Don’t you think It distinctly means Allah wants us to learn from that? Do you?
Well, I'm hoping this story will remind us to always believing and be kind regardless of how bad our situation is.
